Al Kasaba Theatre and Cinematheque is a cultural institution and a Palestinian non-governmental organization founded in 1970 in Jerusalem, and in 2000 in Ramallah. Located in the heart of Ramallah, Al-Kasaba Theatre and Cinematheque stands as the only professional fully equipped multipurpose venue in the entire Palestinian territories. Al-Kasaba’s multipurpose halls provide an ideal space of performance for Palestinian and international performing art troupes, from theatre to dance, from film screening to musical events, and conferences. Our unique facilities and the experience of our administrative team, technicians and employees create a high degree of professionalism in the achievement of fulfillment of all kinds of events.

Al Kasaba building has two dance rehearsal studios and two large stages suitable for practice and performances. Since its establishment, Al Kasaba has hosted the Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival performances for several years, in addition to hosting multiple local and international dance performances.
